Weekly Blog #11: A Masquerade's Corn Hole

 Hello 'Ilima

What a wild week it has been. The biggest thing to happen was Halloween. I was dressed up as Guts from Berserk and the whole day was fun. Most of Leadership dressed up for Halloween and it was very silly. Then after the day, I went Trick or Treating with my friends. One of my friends couldn't come which was sad but we still had so much fun. We went around the neighborhood and we got a whole bunch of candy. There was even a haunted house which was cool. This was defiantly my best Halloween and I can't wait for more in the future. Tomorrow (or today depending what time this is posted) will be another day with friends as I am going to watch the FNAF movie. We have been waiting for this movie and I'm so excited to go. In school, we had a new intermural start this week which is Corn Hole. You know what corn hole is and it has been so far pretty good. The players are currently in the practice stage and we are just here to give the bags to the players. For a GT update, they have now gotten their vests! It feels like your child handing you a perfect report card or that child getting a big role. You just feel so proud and they have grown already from these couples of week. This week they learned how to use the camera which was very fun because we got to see them get better at taking pictures. Not a lot happened during school but there was a one pager, a test, and yelling. The yelling came from Math on Friday where Ms. Chen got a noise complaint because we were to loud. We were playing Jeopardy and you had to shout your team name to be picked. Well we screamed very loud. It was very silly and I got very mad. There was also a GSA party and it was fun. They had Pandas and it was very good. We played some games and we got to take some accessories home. Overall the week has been very good. But there is one thing that I will cover later.

There were many highlights that happened this week so I will just start listing. Highlight one was Halloween. Halloween is an obvious highlight but it was just so fun this time. Most of my friends were there and we just had a great time. Then another highlight would have to be the GT getting their vests as I just felt very proud. Then a lowlight from this week was me dancing in front of everyone in Leadership. If I had kept my mouth quiet then I wouldn't have to do be dancing but I talked about my dance and then everyone wanted to see it. But I think they liked it so that is good. Another lowlight would be getting gum stuck in my hair. I don't know how it got in my hair because I don't chew gum but I had a piece of pink gum in my hair and it was annoying.

A lesson I learned from this week was to keep your mouth closed when you don't have to talk. I literally just talked about this a couple of sentences ago but if I had just kept my mouth shut then I wouldn't have to embarrass myself in front of all of Leadership.

My favorite magic note this week was very difficult to choose. I was down to two people and ultimately I couldn't decide. So this week has two winners. These winners are, a drum roll a please........................ Jewelyn and Gabby!!!!!!! Jewelyn's magic notes are always so nice and personal while Gabby's was funny as it brought up a previous magic note and we are starting to plan something. So Jewelyn has 2 gold stars, Gabby has 1 gold star, and everyone else has 0. This concludes my blog and I wish you the best. Cheers to another day!

The Two Winners!!!
