Weekly Blog #22: Superbowl Sunday!

 Hello 'Ilima

This week of school was not very eventful, but the Superbowl was this week which was exciting. My whole family were rooting for the 49ers and to see them lose in such a frustrating game was terrible. There was so many ways in which we could of won and we just didn't. But spending that time with my family and having fun was the main thing. I also removed the braids in my hair and when I first washed it, all of my hair dropped and it looked really straight. On Thursday, my mom returned from her trip to the mainland and I was so happy to see her again. She talked about her trip and we helped unpack her 3 suitcases. We had an essay to do in ELA about overcoming adversity and I finished it pretty quickly. I had a draft that I just fixed and changed to make it better, so I was able to do it all quickly. Yearbook verification was also this week and it was fine. I worked with Dylan and we didn't have any troubles in the verification process. Overall, this week was pretty good.

The Two New Student's Magic Notes

Me with my Hair Down

A highlight, and a bit of a lowlight, was the Superbowl. It was very frustrating at some points, but I had a lot of fun watching the game and making food with my family. Another highlight from this week was yearbook verification because it was felt good to help the people with the yearbook. Finally, another highlight would be getting my hair down because the braids would always get into my face when I was trying to do things. A lowlight from this week would be math homework, mainly because some parts were very confusing and I didn't understand them. But, this week was more good than bad.

A lesson I learned from this week is that every part counts. We were watching music videos to understand the atmosphere for Royal Prodigies, and it got me thinking about all of the different parts you need for something. It also goes to the Superbowl and how every team needs every player. So every part matters when trying to make something.

This week had a lot of magic notes (mainly about my choreo), so let's see who comes on top. In our honorable mentions we have.............. nobody! I decided to be nice and make all of the magic notes that were are the top winners. So the winners for this week are........... Mal, Reese, and Jewelyn! Your magic notes were very nice and personalized. Our new leaderboard is looking like Jewelyn w/10, Reese w/7.5, Gabby w/3.5, Mal w/3, Riselle w/2.5, Zhalea, Dominic and Jayden w/2, Naomi w/1, Jayna w/.5, and everyone else with 0. The battle is getting more intense. With that being said, this concludes my blog and I wish you the best. Cheers to another day!

The Winners!
