Weekly Blog #23: Recognized Pain

 Hello 'Ilima

This week was pretty up and down for me for a couple of reasons. First, we had Recognition Night which was super fun. This Recognition Night had less people come which made the job a bit easier, but it was still good work. After the event, my throat was hurting so much from all of the screaming I was doing. Also after the event, I realized that I had lost my ID. I looked everywhere and I couldn't find it. My ID included my bus pass which made finding it more important. But I couldn't find it anywhere so I gave up and spent $10 on replacements. But the next day, security just found my ID and now I had two IDS, two bus passes, and -$10. To bring in some more happiness, my family and I went to a steakhouse for a valentine's celebration. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was so high quality. So of course, with all of this happiness, there needs to be some negativity and this week we had a math test, a science test, and two essays. All due in the same week. Now, I kind of over dramatized that as it was two short essays, a pretty simple science test, and a math test so not as bad, but still exhausting. The math test was very tricky for me and my friends and we all struggled. But I still got a good grade so 👍. This week was just like a roller costar.

Clothes for Steakhouse Dinner

I kind of did the highlight lowlights in the last one, but I will just repeat them. The first highlight from this week was Recognition Night as it was very fun and I felt happy for my friends, The second highlight was the Steakhouse Dinner as the food was super delicious and I got to spend quality time with my family. The first lowlight was that I lost my ID and bus pass and then wasted $10 getting the replacements. The last lowlight was the abundant amount of work we had in school which included a math test, a science test, and two essays. So like I said last time, this week had more ups and downs then a romcom.

The lesson I learned from this week was don't panic. I can't remember if I have said this already, but not panicking would be really important for me for this week. When I lost my ID, I was panicking immediately and I was scrambling to find it. If I didn't panic then I would be more calm in order to find the ID. I also shouldn't have panicked for the school work, as it just made me more nervous and afraid of messing up. Overall, I shouldn't panic because it allow me to assess the situation and be calmer.

This week had a lot of good magic notes, so let's see who comes on top. In our honorable mentions we have.............. nobody again! I really liked all of the winner's magic notes and so I decided for all of them to get a full point. So the winners for this week are........... Riselle, Zhalea, Naomi. Reese, and Jewelyn! All of your magic notes were either funny or very sweet which made it deserving of the winning spot. Our new leaderboard is looking like Jewelyn w/11, Reese w/8.5, Gabby and Riselle w/3.5, Mal and Zhalea w/3, Naomi, Dominic and Jayden w/2, Jayna w/.5, and everyone else with 0. The competition is alive and we need to see who comes out on top. With that being said, this concludes my blog and I wish you the best. Cheers to another day!

The Winners
